Gisteren zijn de Tony Awards voor de 66e keer uitgereikt. De winnaars werden bekendgemaakt in het Beacon Theatre in New York.
De grootste kanshebber was de musical Once met in totaal 11 nominaties. Hiervan werden er acht verzilverd. Verder ontvingen de producties Newsies, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess en Nice Work If You Can Get It twee Awards.
